Pro-Consumer Legislation Offers Fresh Ideas for Reforming Retrans
Washington, D.C. September 9, 2013 — Following Rep. Anna G. Eshoo’s (D-CA) introduction Monday of her Video CHOICE (Consumers Have Options in Choosing Entertainment) Act, the American Television Alliance released the following statement:
“We applaud Ranking Member Eshoo for her leadership and her legislation to address the myriad problems with our retransmission consent system. Her voice is the latest in an ever-growing chorus calling for retrans reform and her bill is a step in the right direction.
